Day 27: “Most Badass Scene From Any Anime Character”
I am slightly behind on the second season of My Hero Academia since I was started to get bored with watching the anime every week. I have waited about four or five weeks now, to binge through some episodes, and I was not disappointed with what I came back to.
spoiler alert for those who have not seen the second season, well up to episode 29
I already thoroughly enjoy Shouto’s character. He has a little bit of Bakugo’s hot-headness and a bit of Midoriya’s level-headedness. He is able to think through situations, while also being able to use his strength to his advantage. After watching the twenty-ninth episode earlier today, I have to admit that I am impressed with Shouto, even more than before. Shouto usually keeps to himself, unwilling to show his true feelings and help out the other students. However, in this episode he does more than help Midoriya and Iida, he most likely saved their lives.
The antisocial and confident character voiced his own opinion and gave some rather motivating words of encouragement to Iida. While I have yet to see the next episode, I am refraining myself to one a day, one can assume that Shouto will actually encourage Iida to move again. I thought this scene was pretty badass. First Midoriya comes flying in and gives a swift kick to Stain’s head, then Shouto shows up later on when those two are in trouble to save the day. I feel like a proud mother watching Shouto learn to accept his fire abilities and use them in battle.
I can’t wait to see what the next episode has in store. Hopefully Shouto and Midoriya will become a permanent partnership..? Wishful thinking.
Synopsis: At UA Academy, not even a violent attack can disrupt their most prestigious event: the school sports festival. Renowned across Japan, this festival is an opportunity for aspiring heroes to showcase their abilities, both to the public and potential recruiters. However, the path to glory is never easy, especially for Izuku Midoriya—whose quirk possesses great raw power but is also cripplingly inefficient. Pitted against his talented classmates, such as the fire and ice wielding Shouto Todoroki, Izuku must utilize his sharp wits and master his surroundings to achieve victory and prove to the world his worth.
